How ASEC Began
Arkansas Surgery & Endoscopy Center was established in 1995 with a clear purpose: to give patients access to specialized GI procedures in a dedicated outpatient setting.
Unlike hospital-based outpatient departments, an ambulatory surgery center is designed around efficiency, convenience, and focused same-day procedure care. For many patients and insurance plans, ASC-based procedures may also be a more cost-effective option compared to a hospital outpatient setting.
Today, ASEC supports Digestive Care’s complete-care model, allowing patients to move from office consultation to procedure scheduling, endoscopy, pathology review, and follow-up care through one connected team.
